Titles
  • Lady of Harrenhal

A pretty and vivacious noblewoman of House Stokeworth, born in 125 AC, who came to court in the early reign of King Aegon III Targaryen and as a girl sometimes played at dolls with the young Queen Jaehaera. In 149 AC she became the first mistress of Prince Aegon Targaryen, making a man of the prince of fourteen — the earliest of the women who would in time earn him the name Aegon the Unworthy.

When a knight of the Kingsguard found the two abed together in 151 AC, the prince's father Viserys wed Falena to Ser Lucas Lothston, the master-at-arms of the Red Keep, and prevailed upon King Aegon III to raise Lucas to Lord of Harrenhal — making her its Lady — chiefly to remove her from court. Yet the prince visited Harrenhal often in the years that followed, and it was whispered that he, not Lucas, had fathered her daughter Jeyne Lothston. After Aegon took the throne as Aegon IV, Falena brought the young Jeyne to court, where the king made the girl his mistress in her turn and named Lucas his Hand — earning Lucas the mocking style "the Pander" — until the king tired of the Lothstons and sent them from court for good.
