Anya Waynwood is the Lady of Ironoaks and head of House Waynwood during the War of the Five Kings, an elderly widow of slim build with greying brown hair, loose skin beneath her chin, and crow's-feet about her eyes. She is a niece of Ser Elys Waynwood. She has three sons, Morton, Donnel, and Wallace, along with an unspecified number of daughters, granddaughters, and grandsons, and her wards include her cousin Harrold Hardyng, heir presumptive of the Vale of Arryn, and Cynthea Frey, daughter of Carolei Waynwood. Anya and her sons were present in the High Hall of the Eyrie when Tyrion Lannister demanded a trial by battle. In A Feast for Crows she was one of the Lords Declarant who swore at Runestone to drive Petyr Baelish from the Vale, but after Baelish bought up the Waynwood debts she agreed at Lyonel Corbray's wedding in Gulltown to betroth her ward Harry to Baelish's supposed bastard daughter, Alayne Stone. She is portrayed in the television adaptation by Paola Dionisotti.
