Elys Waynwood

Ser Elys Waynwood, born in or before 251 AC, was a knight of House Waynwood and the uncle of Lady Anya, the present head of the house. He wed Alys Arryn, sister of Lord Jon Arryn, and had nine children by her, a single son, Jasper, and eight daughters. Misfortune thinned them: Jasper was kicked in the head by a horse at the age of three; the eldest daughter married Ser Denys Arryn but died soon after he did; two daughters died of the pox as children and a third was left scarred by it and became a septa; another was seduced by a sellsword and joined the Silent Sisters after her bastard died in infancy; one wed the Lord of the Paps but proved barren; one was carried off by Burned Men on her way to marry a Bracken; and the youngest married a landed knight of House Hardyng and died bearing him a son, Harrold Hardyng.
