Franklyn Fowler (The Old Hawk)

Franklyn Fowler, called the Old Hawk, is Lord of Skyreach and Warden of the Prince's Pass, and head of House Fowler, reckoned among the most powerful lords of Dorne. He shares his house's ancestral enmity with House Yronwood and dislikes its current ruler, Lord Anders Yronwood. In A Feast for Crows, the imprisoned Princess Arianne Martell resolves to seek his aid, judging him strong enough to threaten her father Prince Doran, but the letter she sends with Cedra is intercepted before it reaches him. In The Winds of Winter, Lord Franklyn commands the Dornish host assembled at the Prince's Pass. He is father to the twins Jeyne and Jennelyn, the elder of whom, Jeyne, is his heir.
