Daryn Hornwood

Daryn Hornwood was the trueborn son and heir of Lord Halys Hornwood and Lady Donella Manderly, and half-brother to the bastard Larence Snow. He had been betrothed to Alys Karstark, the only daughter of Lord Rickard Karstark, the match awaiting only her flowering before they were to wed. Riding south with Robb Stark, Daryn served among the king's personal guard and was slain by Ser Jaime Lannister during the battle in the Whispering Wood in 299 AC, dying near the same time his father fell on the Green Fork and leaving House Hornwood without a trueborn male heir. He appears in A Game of Thrones.
