Larence Snow

Larence Snow was the natural son of Lord Halys Hornwood, fostered at Deepwood Motte under the guardianship of Galbart Glover and reckoned by the castle's steward smart and courageous. After the deaths of his father and his trueborn half-brother Daryn in 299 AC, Larence was floated at the Winterfell harvest feast as a possible heir to the Hornwood, an idea favored by Bran Stark, who was reminded of his own half-brother Jon Snow, and welcome to the Glovers, though Ser Rodrik Cassel judged Lady Donella would resent her husband's bastard supplanting her. When Asha Greyjoy and the ironborn took Deepwood Motte, Larence, then thirteen, was kept captive there; he is presumed freed when Stannis Baratheon broke the ironmen before the castle. He is mentioned in A Clash of Kings and appears in later appendices.
