House Piper of Pinkmaiden Castle holds a modest seat in the western Riverlands, in the rolling hills between the Red Fork and the western mountains. Their sigil, a pink dancing maiden held between two iron flagons, is unusual enough to draw comment at any tourney, and the Pipers have always been ready to draw a sword in answer to that comment.
Lord Clement Piper is a short, stout, jolly man who has fought in more battles than his easy laughter would suggest. His son Marq is squire to a cousin of Lord Hoster's, and rides at Edmure Tully's side when the Riverlands take the field.
