Clement Piper

Clement Piper is the Lord of Pinkmaiden Castle, head of House Piper, and a loyal vassal of House Tully. At the outset of the War of the Five Kings he led the troops sworn to his house to guard the Golden Tooth against the Lannisters, and was defeated at the Battle of the Golden Tooth, escaping with his life while his house held for the Tullys and for Robb Stark. After his heir, Ser Marq, was taken prisoner by the Freys at the Red Wedding, Lord Clement bent the knee to the Iron Throne, and his younger son Lewys was given to Ser Jaime Lannister as a squire and surety for his good behavior. He afterward joined the river lords who brought their strength to the siege of Riverrun at the command of the Iron Throne, sitting on Jaime Lannister's war council, where his open hatred of House Frey led him to threaten Edwyn Frey and storm out after being threatened in turn by Ser Walder Rivers. His wife is nowhere named, and no daughter is recorded.
