Tanda Stokeworth was Lady of Stokeworth and head of her house, an old woman of the crownlands who kept apartments in King's Landing with her two daughters, Falyse and Lollys. Reckoned neither clever nor comely, she doted upon her girls and labored ceaselessly to find husbands for them, plying Lord Petyr Baelish and later Tyrion Lannister with banquets in hopes of a match for Lollys. She fled the Red Keep when King Joffrey I Baratheon choked to death at his wedding feast, having earlier given the boy a pair of riding boots. After her younger daughter was wed to Ser Bronn of the Blackwater, Tanda shattered her hip in a fall from her horse and never mended; tended by her maester Frenken, she died of a chill in her chest in 300 AC, whereupon Lollys succeeded her as Lady of Stokeworth. She appears in A Clash of Kings and A Storm of Swords, and is mentioned in A Game of Thrones and A Feast for Crows.
