A knight of House Darry, the fourth son of the Lord of Darry, Ser Raymun came to hold Castle Darry after his three older brothers fell with the Targaryen host at the Battle of the Trident. He was never formally styled Lord of Darry in the books, though Eddard Stark and Jaime Lannister thought of him as the castle's lord. Under his rule the Darrys secretly kept faith with the exiled Targaryens; he removed the hidden tapestries of the dragon kings from the cellars before King Robert I Baratheon's party descended on Castle Darry uninvited during the search for Arya Stark along the Trident, the king taking his audience chamber and bedchamber for his own. When Ser Gregor Clegane raided the riverlands, Hoster Tully sent Raymun with Ser Marq Piper and Ser Karyl Vance to King's Landing, and Lord Eddard Stark dispatched him with the expedition under Beric Dondarrion to bring the Mountain to justice. The party was ambushed at the Mummer's Ford in 298 AC, where Gregor cut off Raymun's arm at the elbow with a single blow and killed his horse. His son Lyman succeeded him.
