Ormond Yronwood was Lord of Yronwood and head of the house, the son of Lord Edgar Yronwood and father of Lord Anders Yronwood. When Prince Doran Martell sought to repay the blood debt his brother Oberyn had incurred by the death of Lord Edgar, it was Lord Ormond's terms that had to be met: Doran agreed to foster his son Quentyn at Yronwood, the only solution Ormond would accept, a decision that fed the bitter quarrel between Doran and his wife, Lady Mellario of Norvos, over the boy's upbringing. He carried the styles the Bloodroyal and Warden of the Stone Way and was succeeded at Yronwood by his son Anders. Ormond is mentioned in A Feast for Crows, A Dance with Dragons, and The Winds of Winter.
