Valena Toland

Valena Toland is the eldest daughter of Lady Nymella Toland of Ghost Hill and the heir to her mother's seat. She is tall, beautiful, and fierce, with a blaze of bright red hair tumbling about her shoulders. In The Winds of Winter she greets Princess Arianne Martell and her companions when they arrive at Ghost Hill and, at the welcoming supper, reports that Rain House, Crow's Nest, Mistwood, Greenstone, and Tarth have all fallen to the Golden Company. When her younger sister Teora insists that dragons are coming, Valena scornfully asks whether she knows it from one of her little dreams.
