Symon Santagar

Ser Symon Santagar is the head of House Santagar and the Knight of Spottswood. He has a single daughter, Sylva Santagar, who stands as his heir. After his daughter was caught up in Princess Arianne Martell's conspiracy to crown Princess Myrcella Baratheon, Doran Martell, Prince of Dorne, sent Sylva home to Spottswood rather than punish her; Symon then quickly betrothed her to Eldon Estermont, Lord of Greenstone, and shipped her to that island. Arianne reckoned Symon too dutiful and his house too weak to intimidate her father, and ruled him out as a possible ally.
