Russell Merryweather

Russell Merryweather is the young son of Lord Orton Merryweather and Lady Taena of Myr, and heir to Longtable, born at the castle in 293 or 294 AC. In A Feast for Crows, Queen Regent Cersei Lannister offers to foster the boy at court as a companion for King Tommen, but Taena demurs, insisting Russell would be more comfortable remaining at Longtable. After Cersei's release from the Great Sept of Baelor, Ser Kevan Lannister means to summon Taena and Russell to King's Landing — intending to foster the child himself — but is assassinated before he can send word to Longtable.
