Myrielle Peake (Lady Turnips)

Myrielle Peake was a daughter of Lord Unwin Peake of Starpike, and after the death of her brother Ser Titus in the Dance of the Dragons became her father's only surviving child. Brown of hair and eye with a broad, freckled face and crooked teeth that made her shy with smiles, she was described by Mushroom as no great beauty but fresh and pretty and pleasant. When her father served as Hand of the King during the regency of Aegon III Targaryen, he pressed her as a bride for the king after Queen Jaehaera's death in 133 AC, likening the match to Aegon being made to eat turnips set before him, a remark that saw her mocked throughout the Seven Kingdoms as Lady Turnips. The match was opposed by lords including Cregan Stark and Kermit Tully, and Unwin resigned the Handship after the king instead wed Daenaera Velaryon.
