Ser Lyn Corbray is a slender, handsome, and notoriously dangerous knight, the second of the three Corbray brothers and heir to his childless elder brother Lyonel. He won his spurs during Robert's Rebellion, first fighting for House Targaryen alongside Lord Marq Grafton against Jon Arryn at the gates of Gulltown before his house came over to the rebels. At the Battle of the Trident he took up the family's Valyrian steel sword Lady Forlorn after their father was wounded, led a charge that broke the Dornish lines, and cut down the already-injured Prince Lewyn Martell of the Kingsguard; his father afterward gave him the sword outright, to Lyonel's lasting resentment. Vain, hot-tempered, and venomous of tongue, he pressed his suit on the widowed Lady Lysa Arryn and offered to champion her in Tyrion Lannister's trial by battle. Though he openly joined the Lords Declarant and once drew steel against Petyr Baelish at the Eyrie, Sansa Stark learns he had been Baelish's creature from the first, rewarded in gold and boys to undermine them from within.
