  • Lord of Heart's Home
  • Protector of the Realm

Lord Leowyn Corbray was Lord of Heart's Home during the Dance of the Dragons and elder brother of Ser Corwyn Corbray. Following his liege Lady Jeyne Arryn, he declared for Rhaenyra Targaryen and the blacks, and toward the war's end the two brothers led ten thousand Valemen down from the Vale to take King's Landing. When the council of regents was formed for the boy king Aegon III, Leowyn was named Protector of the Realm, though the Hand, Ser Tyland Lannister, soon overshadowed him and gathered the true power to himself. In the matter of the succession he favored Princess Rhaena over her wilder twin Baela. Mushroom mocked him as thick of neck and thick of wit. He died of the Winter Fever in 133 AC alongside his mistress and several servants, and was succeeded at Heart's Home by his son Quenton.
