Gedmund Peake (Gedmund Great-Axe)

Ser Gedmund Peake, called Gedmund Great-Axe, was the younger brother of Lord Peake of Starpike and uncle to Lord Unwin Peake. A warrior of prowess but little experience with ships, he was made commander of the royal fleet by his nephew during the regency of Aegon III Targaryen in 133 AC, with the seasoned Ned Bean as his second-in-command, and was afterward named lord admiral and master of ships. His seasickness on the voyage against Racallio Ryndoon earned him the mocking byname Gedmund Green-Sick.
