Prince Edmund Gardener was the heir of King Mern IX Gardener, the last King of the Reach. When his father allied with Loren I Lannister against Aegon the Conqueror, Edmund was given command of the vanguard. He burned upon the Field of Fire in 2 BC alongside his father, his brothers, and his own sons when Aegon and his sisters Visenya and Rhaenys loosed the fury of their dragons.
