House Kyndall traces its blood to the Andal invasion of the westerlands, when the daughters of local First Men lords married into the incoming Andal warlords and knights, binding old blood to new swords. The house has kept a quiet place among Casterly Rock's bannermen ever since, its best-remembered daughter being Lady Teora Kyndall, who wed Tybolt Lannister, Lord of Casterly Rock, and bore him Cerelle Lannister.
