Marq Mudd, called the Mad Bard, was a would-be king who claimed the title King of the Rivers and the Hills and rose in unsuccessful rebellion against House Durrandon in the generations after the Storm King Arlan III Durrandon conquered the riverlands. He had a brief, inglorious reign before he was put down. As recorded in The World of Ice & Fire, his connection to the extinct Mudd dynasty is unconfirmed.
