Joffrey Lydden (Joffrey Lannister)

Joffrey Lannister, born Ser Joffrey Lydden, was a knight of House Lydden, descended from the Andal adventurers who settled the westerlands. He married the only daughter of King Gerold III Lannister, who was of First Men descent. When Gerold died without male issue, a council crowned Joffrey in his place and he set aside the name of Lydden to rule as Joffrey Lannister, becoming the first King of the Rock of Andal blood.
